Easter is such a joyous time for Christians as we celebrate how very much God loves us. John 3:16 says that God loved the world so much that He sacrificed His one and only Son so that anyone who believes in Him can have eternal life. That is joyful news!

Can you believe Easter is just a couple weeks away?! It seems like we have been “winter-ing” for so long… SPRING is here! I don’t know about you, but Easter is my FAVORITE holiday, and for many different reasons. Easter is a time to celebrate God’s wondrous love, and the new life He has given me in Christ Jesus.

The church also sees lots of new faces, young and old, on Easter. Whether visiting with family, or checking out “this church thing” for the 1st time on Easter, we have many guests and lots of opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus, both to the children in class, and their parents!

How can you help?? We are looking for extra teachers for each service to love on and teach children in class. Whether you are a veteren Sunday School Teacher or have yet to be a part of the exciting Preschool and Childrens Ministry, there is a place for YOU! Click HERE to sign up today!

It’s SPRING ((almost)) and with it, time for our clocks to “spring” forward…

Daylight Saving Time will start this Sunday, March 14, 2010. Before you go to bed the night before, be sure to set your clocks forward one hour.

I’m never to excited at the idea of losing an hour of sleep, but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make for more daylight, and warmer weather! Yay for SPRING!!

All 3rd-5th Graders (from all campuses) who memorize the books of the Bible and can recite them to their classroom teacher by March 28, will be invited to a skating party! And entered to win a $50 gift card to Toys R Us. See take home flyer at the Extreme for details.

It is that time of year again! Volunteers are needed for Vacation Bible School the week of June 14-19, 2010 in both preschool and grade school areas during both the morning and evening sessions. (Preschool VBS is available only for the children of Volunteers.) Save the date and sign up now.

If your child (Babies-5th grade) needs you for any reason while they are in the Reef, Rock or Extreme, we will display the last 4 digits of your phone number (from the phone number that prints on their name tag sticker) on the visual paging boards around your campus. If your phone number has changed in the last year, or you notice that a number does not print on their name tag, please let us know at check-in so we can update our computer system.
